Candle Safety
Treat lighted candles as you would any other flame, with great care!
- Never leave a burning candle unattended
- Always place candles upright in suitable holders, which cannot fall over easily
- Always place candles well away from curtains and furniture and always out of draughts
- Always make sure that candles are properly extinguished, especially before going to bed
- Keep candles away from children and pets
- Keep candles away from clothes and hair
- Candles and tea lights can melt plastic surfaces like the tops of televisions and bath tubs. Make sure you always place them on a heat resistant surface.
